Kathmandu, 22 July. 23 contractor companies have been blacklisted for stalling the infrastructure construction work and procurement process under various government agencies. The Procurement Monitoring Office has said that 23 companies have been blacklisted as recommended by various public bodies. During the blacklisted period, these companies will not be allowed to engage in the procurement system of any other government agency.
According to the office, on the recommendation of Road Division Office Harakpur Okhaldhunga, Pappu-Koshi Enda Neupane Joint Venture Company has been blacklisted for one year and six months and Natasa Construction Service for stalling the work of Infrastructure Development Office Lalitpur for one year.
Under the road division office, on the recommendation of Dang, the Triveni construction service has been blacklisted for one year, on the recommendation of Bharatpur, the Samdhar construction service has been blacklisted for one year and the builders of Bhaktapur who stalled the work have been blacklisted for one and a half years. Similarly, following the recommendation of the Department of Urban Development and Building Construction, Federal Project Implementation Unit Dhanusha, the office has blacklisted Chetna-UKN Joint Venture Company for one and a half years.
After stalling the work of Water Resources and Irrigation Development Division Sindhuli, BKB Construction and Suppliers for one year, Bluebird Design and Construction for one year on the recommendation of Sandhikhark Municipality, Budhathoki Construction Service for one year on the recommendation of Road Division Office Ilam and three companies New Construction Service, Shubham Construction on the recommendation of Road Division Bharatpur. And Jai Bhagwati Nirman Seva has been blacklisted for one year each.
On the recommendation of Bharatpur Metropolitan Corporation, Urban Construction Limited has been blacklisted for one year, while on the recommendation of Bharatpur Metropolitan Corporation, Anjal Construction Services have been blacklisted for one year, Ritual Construction for one and a half years and War Construction Services for one year. Similarly, Lama Buddha Construction and Materials Suppliers Pvt. Ltd., which did not complete the work of Bigu Rural Municipality of Dolakha, was blacklisted for one and a half years, Exxon Builders Pvt. Ltd., which left the work of Byas Municipality of Tanahun incomplete for one year, and Nuri Construction, which stalled the work of Barbardia Municipality of Bardia, was blacklisted for one year, according to the procurement monitoring office.
